Reflection.Become is a statement piece from the REFLECTION collection—a large-format mirror that straddles the line between a functional object and a collector’s item.
The organic 3D-printed frame is complemented by a mirrored surface with a subtle iridescent effect that transforms the reflection depending on the light, viewing angle, and movement of the person in front of the mirror. It is being created as a limited edition for Designblok 2026.

Become is the largest and most striking piece in the REFLECTION collection. It is designed as a full-length mirror and, at the same time, as a standalone sculptural object for interiors where design is meant to play a prominent role.
The asymmetrical silhouette, approximately 145 cm tall, is framed by a sculptural border created using large-format 3D printing. The exposed layers of material form a texture that reacts to light and changes its appearance as one moves around the piece.The mirrored surface itself features a subtle iridescent effect. The reflection is therefore not entirely neutral—it changes with the surrounding light and the observer’s movement. Become thus deliberately shifts the mirror from a simple representation of reality to an interpretation of it.
The name ties in with the central theme of the entire REFLECTION collection. While the smaller objects are named Spark, Courage, and Awe, Become concludes the journey with the question:

Production: made to order as part of a limited edition within 8–10 weeks (1/3 of the exhibition piece)
The frame is manufactured from post-consumer single-type PLA polymer using large-format 3D printing. The material, which would otherwise remain waste, thus becomes part of a long-lasting interior object. The use of a single-type polymer also preserves the possibility of its subsequent material recycling.
